Overview

What this course is, plainly

NLP covers the full arc of language processing: from tokenisation and classical statistical methods through word embeddings to transformer-based models.

You build working systems — a sentiment classifier, a named-entity extractor, a semantic search index — using spaCy, NLTK and Hugging Face Transformers, and learn to evaluate them on the metrics that actually reflect user experience.

Why choose this course

  • Classical and transformer-era methods, both
  • spaCy, NLTK and Hugging Face in practice
  • Fine-tuning on your own labelled data
  • Evaluation that reflects real user outcomes
  • Portfolio-grade capstone project

Curriculum

Module-by-module syllabus

The same structure on every Xypron course page, so you can compare tracks like for like. Each module ends in working code, not a quiz.

  1. Module 1: Text Processing Foundations

Getting raw text into a shape a model can use.

    • Tokenisation, stemming & lemmatisation
    • Stop words, n-grams & normalisation
    • Regular expressions for text extraction
    • Part-of-speech tagging
    • Text preprocessing pipelines with spaCy & NLTK
  2. Module 2: Classical NLP

The statistical methods that still win on small, clean datasets.

    • Bag of words & TF-IDF
    • Naive Bayes text classification
    • Topic modelling with LDA
    • Sentiment analysis with lexicons & classifiers
    • Evaluation: precision, recall, F1 for text
  3. Module 3: Word Embeddings

    Turning meaning into geometry.

    • Word2Vec: CBOW & skip-gram
    • GloVe & FastText
    • Vector similarity & analogy
    • Sentence & document embeddings
    • Visualising embedding spaces
  4. Module 4: Transformers for NLP

    The architecture behind everything current.

    • Attention & self-attention
    • BERT and encoder models
    • GPT-style decoder models
    • Hugging Face Transformers library
    • Fine-tuning a pretrained model on custom data
  5. Module 5: Applied NLP Systems

The tasks companies actually pay for.

    • Named entity recognition
    • Text summarisation: extractive & abstractive
    • Question answering systems
    • Semantic search with vector indexes
    • Multilingual & Indic-language considerations
  6. Module 6: Deployment & Capstone

    Shipping a language system.

    • Serving NLP models via an API
    • Latency & batching for text workloads
    • Model size, quantisation & cost
    • Monitoring output quality
    • End-to-end capstone project

Projects you'll build

  • Customer review sentiment classifier

Python spaCy NLTK Hugging Face Transformers Scikit-learn PyTorch FAISS

Outcomes

What happens after the last module

The course does not end at the capstone. Placement support runs from your first mock interview until you have an offer — and it is support, not a guarantee.

Resume rewrite

Rebuilt around the projects you actually shipped here, targeted at the roles you are applying for.

Mock interviews

Technical and HR rounds with written feedback after each one, repeated until the gaps close.

Profile sharing

Your profile goes to our hiring partners with a note from the trainer who taught you.

Interview scheduling

We book the interviews and follow through until there is a decision either way.

Next step

Ask us anything about Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Batch timings, the fee, whether your background fits, what the trainer's day job is — all fair questions. A counsellor will call you back within two business hours.

Python fluency. Familiarity with basic machine learning concepts makes the modelling modules much easier.

The course runs for 2 months in classroom & online mode. Weekday, weekend and evening batches are scheduled continuously — call +91 73493 01293 for the next available start date.

Customer review sentiment classifier; Resume named-entity extraction pipeline; Semantic document search over a company knowledge base — plus an end-to-end capstone project you deploy yourself and can walk an interviewer through line by line.

Yes. Sit a full session with the trainer who would actually teach your batch before you decide anything. Ask for one on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form on this page.

Large Language Models (LLM)

This track treats large language models as engineering material rather than magic. You learn how they are trained, why they fail the way they do, and how to build reliable products on top of something fundamentally probabilistic.

Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

RAG is the pattern behind almost every enterprise AI deployment: retrieve the right context from your own data, then let the model answer from it. It is also the pattern most teams implement badly, and retrieval quality is almost always the reason.
